Tara grew up in New England fascinated by local folktales. After years of penning short stories and sketch comedy she wrote and produced her first short film "Another Grace & Johnny Adventure: Zombie Island!" which went on to play the film festival circuit. This was followed by her award-winning sci-fi short film "The Routine" and later her directorial debut "Earworm," a horror/suspense short film that has won 9 awards world-wide (including Best Director.) She also directed the 80s-themed music video for the song "The Worst Thing" by The Skanx. Tara currently lives in Los Angeles with her fiancé and a viking shaped like a cat. She bends towards the bleak side of things as a writer.
