The Greenwich International Film Festival will honor Lin-Manuel Miranda with its 2022 Changemaker Award at the Changemaker Gala on May 25, hosted by Jenna Bush-Hager. For tickets and more details, visit the Greenwich International Film Festival website. 

The Brattle Theatre hosts Reunion Week May 25 through June 2, celebrating films reaching landmark 25th, 50th, and 75th anniversaries this year. Screenings will include Out of the Past, Romy and Michele’s High School Reunion, Princess Mononoke, The Ghost and Mrs. Muir, Selena, and more. Visit the Brattle website to learn more.  

Register now for the Mass Production Coalition PA Workshop on May 14. The workshop will take place from 9:30 to 3:30 at Red Sky Studios in Allston and cover production assistant skills for film and commercial productions. Cost is $40. For more details and to register, click here.

Industry Buzz

Stowe Story Labs has announced its 2022 fellowship winners and honorable mentions. Check out the list of recipients here. 

Bradley Cooper will shoot part of his feature Maestro in Massachusetts this spring. Cooper directs and stars in the film about Leonard Bernstein, with plans to film at Tanglewood this month. Read more at Boston.com. 

Opportunities

Submissions are open for this summer’s Rhode Island International Film Festival. Filmmakers can submit in a wide range of categories. Regular deadline is May 15; late June 1; extended June 15; screenplay and film final deadline July 15. Learn more here.

LEF New England is now accepting submissions for its Early Development & Pre-Production Moving Image Fund. Submission deadline is June 3. Visit the LEF website for more information.

The LEF/CIFF Fellowship is now open for submissions. The fellowship is a collaboration between LEF New England and the Camden International Film Festival to allow five New England-based filmmakers to attend the 2022 Camden festival. Deadline is May 16. Click here to learn more.
