Maine Film Center’s Railroad Square Cinema invites you to “Bring Back Date Night” with a series of screenings beginning this month. Watch In the Mood for Love on January 31, Love & Basketball on February 7, 10 Things I Hate About You on February 14, Saving Face on February 21, and Baby Driver on February 28. Billings Farm & Museum presents the Woodstock Vermont Film Series January 1 to March 12. The series of documentary films will screen in person, with Covid safety procedures in place. Advanced reservations are recommended. For more information, click here.

The Banff Mountain Film Festival tours parts of New England this winter, beginning with New Hampshire and Vermont this month. The tour comes to Burlington, Vermont from January 20-22, and Lebanon, New Hampshire on January 25 and 26. Learn more here.

Made in Massachusetts, feature films The Tender Bar and Don’t Look Up are out now. Both films are screening in theaters; in addition, The Tender Bar is available on Amazon Prime, and Don’t Look Up on Netflix.

Register now for the 2022 Maine Film Association’s Winter Film Challenge. Teams of Maine filmmakers will have 72 hours to write, shoot, and edit a short film over February 3-6, with the premiere on February 12. The MacDowell Colony is now accepting applications for its fall 2022 residencies through February 10.
