Director(s) Bio:: Sandra Jaffe is a screenwriter, filmmaker, and script consultant who lives in the Boston area. She has been a screenwriting instructor at various Boston area institutions including Emerson College, Harvard Extension, and Northeastern University.
Her feature length documentary, Our Mockingbird, uses Harper Lee’s classic novel as a lens to view race, class and justice. It won several best documentary festival awards and has been screened at colleges, libraries, high schools and community settings all over the country. Our Mockingbird was broadcast on PBS AMERICA REFRAMED in 2015/16. Jaffe’s short film on artist, Jon Sarkin, was a selection of Reel Abilities, Boston, March 2020.
