How to Create an Account

To view any of the pages on NewEnglandFilm.com, you do not need an account. However, if you want to post a job, event, comment, etc. you must have an account first. To request an account click the "request an account" link in the left sidebar or go to http://newenglandfilm.com/new/account-request. All accounts must be approved by hand by our team which can take up to 1 week. Once you are approved, you will be able to instantly post on the site. If your account is not approved in one week, you can email classifieds@newenglandfilm.com with more information asking to have your account approved.

How to Delete an Account

Email classifieds@newenglandfilm.com from your e-mail on file and specify your username to delete your account. Deleted accounts CANNOT be restored after deletion.

How to Request a Password

If you think you might already have an account, but forgot your password, you can fill out the Request a New Password form at http://newenglandfilm.com/user/password

How to Post a Classified

All job listings and classifieds are completely free to post and view. In order to post a classified, you must create an account or log in to your existing account (use the login box in the left sidebar). Then, go to the Submit Classifieds page and create your post. Be sure to read our Instructions before posting to avoid your ad being deleted and your account blocked.

How to Post Directory Listings, Events, Local Films and more

All listings are free to post on NewEnglandFilm.com. In order to post any content (directory listing, event, local film, etc.), you must login (using left sidebar box) or create a free account. Once you are logged in you can go to your Create Content page and click to add any type of content available. Please be sure to read our instructions before posting or you may risk your listing being deleted and your account blocked.

How to Update a Classified, Directory Listing, Event, Local Film, etc

If you need to make a change to an existing classified or other listing, find the ad or listing on the site and click the "edit" link in the top right of the ad (note you must be logged in and be the author of the ad for that link to appear).

How to Delete a Classified, Directory Listing, Event, Local Film, etc

If you need to delete an existing classified or other listing, find the ad or listing on the site and click the "edit" link in the top right of the ad (note you must be logged in and be the author of the ad for that link to appear). At the bottom of the edit form, there is a button for “delete.” Click that and then approve the deletion confirmation on the next page.

How to Change or Delete a Listing That is Not in Your Account

If you need to update an existing classified or listing that is not currently linked to your account, please email classifieds@newenglandfilm.com and be sure to give us the url for the ad or listing in question. We will link it to your account. We will delete it for you.

Customize Your Public Profile

Once you are logged in, you can go to your Customize My Account page and follow step number 2 to customize your member profile. You can insert bio, additional photos, videos and more.

Update Your Email, Password, Username and Main Photo

To update your email, password, username or main profile photo, go to the Customize My Account page and follow instructions on step number 1 to update your account settings.
