I am a first time filmmaker/film student in the process of submitting preliminary budgeting to my teacher. Unfortunately I feel the books I have read on the subject thus far are not terribly informative for what I want to do.

I am looking for actors who would possibly like to build a small acting group possibly of say 3 to 5 actors who are interested in doing group work, going over monologues, dialogues, scene work etc. The idea is just to keep fresh by continuously working so our talents become organic and presumably we would learn and grow from each other. I am very serious so please only reply if you have passion and are willing to put in the time.1 answer(s) Post your answer

I need a quiet room in Boston/Cambridge to shoot an interview. (I live in RI, so don't have a place in town to use.) It will require minimal equipment and setup and would take less than 2 hours.

I'm a film student trying to find a way to break into the industry. I've been really good at editing for a while and I love making trailers, sometimes to get people into making a film with me I shoot a trailer myself. Since people really enjoy some of the ones I put together, they get really excited about making the movie with me. I keep looking up certain companies to try and apply as an intern, but the majority of them are based in L.A. and I live in Boston currently. What do I do?0 answer(s) Post your answer

Hi all. Does anyone know where I can find information regarding the use of certain trademarks in a film? Specifically, I'm wondering if we're required to get permission from an auto manufacturer if a car's hood ornament or logo is visible in a movie. Thanks much!0 answer(s) Post your answer
