I started out as a professional product designer and model maker, but alongside, I also was an ardent lover of film and photography. Ever since I got my first 35mm Nikon when I was 13 years old, capturing images has been an important creative outlet. I attended RISD and graduated with a BFA in Industrial Design, and all the while honed my photography skills. I made the leap from machine shop to 3D CAD modeling a few years after I graduated, and then to photo realistic image creation soon after in the form of 3D animation. Ever since, I have been exploring the limitless possibilities to visualize new and compelling ideas. From still images, to the world of 3D animation and video, I've spent the last 16 years honing my image creation skills and look forward to each new project. About 8 years ago I started adding DSLR video to my toolkit, and recently upgraded to a Canon Cinema EOS C100 mark II.
