NewEnglandFilm.com to Nominate Stowe Story Labs Fellow
NewEnglandFilm.com has partnered with Stowe Story Labs to nominate a slate of applicants for a fellowship to the 2014 Story Labs. The Second Annual Stowe Story Labs will be held in Stowe, Vermont at the Helen Day Arts Center on September 13, 14 and 15, 2014. The Labs are a three-day intensive retreat bringing emerging writers, filmmakers and creative producers together in the heart of Vermont to work with industry professionals. The Labs give participants the chance to work on their stories, learn from industry experts and build relationships in this collaborative art.

40 Filmmakers and Historians: The Vermont Movie

The first to outlaw slavery; the first to allow same-sex civil unions; etc. It is a state steeped in grassroots thinking and democracy.
