Massachusetts filmmaker Brendan Boogie is seeking Kickstarter support for his feature-length indie film, Sundown, a feature-length drama about the ravages and absurdities of a family living with dementia. Boogie (The Mayor of Rock & Roll) mines his own experience living through his father’s dementia to tell a funny, tragic and most importantly, real story about a family of what he calls “wise asses” grieving their loved one while he’s still there.

Filming in and around the Boston area is set to start in early July, and Boogie hopes to raise $15,000 for production via the Kickstarter campaign, to pay cast, crew and expenses. To donate, and learn more about the story and the people involved in its telling, visit the Sundown Kickstarter campaign.
