Happenings

The Boston Jewish Film Festival runs November 2–13. Highlights include several premieres and the “Luminaries and Legends” celebration. Festival passes are available. Visit http://www.bjff.org/ for a full schedule and more details.

Celebrate a French legend this month at “The Films of Catherine Deneuve” at Boston’s

It’s a busy month for Matt Damon, who announced he will be teaming up with two fellow Massachusetts natives in the future. Damon and Ben Affleck will reunite for a film about “Whitey” Bulger, according to The Boston Globe ( http://www.boston.com/

Filmmakers are at work in Maine to bring a true story to the screen for the upcoming documentary Lighthouse. The film will tell the story of two teenagers who grew up in a shelter in Portland, Maine. Learn more at http://www.lighthousemovie.com/.
