The short film A Bootful of Fish is scheduled to begin shooting this month.  Bulkhead Pictures will host a Community Support & Fundraising Party featuring a special screening of the award-winning short drama The Listeners on Thursday, January 12, 2006 from 6-8 pm at Governor’s Inn, in Rochester, NH. Filmmakers from New Hampshire-based production company Either/Or Films and administrators from the town of Peterborough received commendations at the Governor and Executive Council meeting for choosing to shoot their film completely in Peterborough, fostering a working relationship with the town, raising 90% of their film’s funds in New Hampshire and attracting major talent to be a part of the project.  The film The Sensation of Sight is an off-beat drama about a man’s search for meaning amidst the ache of despair.  For more information about film and television production in www.nh.gov/film. n

Boston University’s Center for Digital Imaging Arts (CDIA) has opened a new 15,000 square foot facility to accommodate the Center’s growing student population and demand for the school’s Digital Arts Certificate Programs. The new facility is located at 274 Moody Street, adjacent to the 15,000 square foot campus at 282 Moody Street. With two new film and photography studios, a recording arts studio, seven classrooms, and a gallery space for student and faculty exhibitions, the new state-of-the-art facility will give CDIA much-needed additional space for its popular academic programs. For more information, visit http://www.cdiabu.com.

New Hampshire movie pioneers celebrated the 15th anniversary of their ground-breaking movie Special Agent-Hudson Marr with a new digitally re-mastered DVD. The movie was originally shot in 1990 with an eye towards the future of moviemaking. The group developed a new way of producing movies based around the volunteer aspects of “community theatre combined with the emerging tools of digital video.” The movie was shot
during the summer of 1990 with help from the Sundance Institute. The 15th anniversary special edition DVD is available now at www.SpecialAgentHudsonMarr.com.

House of Maggot, a modern day "Victorian style" ghost story, will shoot from Jan 27th- Feb 2nd. The film will be shot in Freeport, Maine by Emptyhouse Film/Motion Media.
