Essays on Documentary, founded by Doug Block ("Heck with Hollywood") is a firsthand look at the art, craft, business and technology of non-fiction filmmaking from the diverse perspectives of professionals working on documentaries. Participating filmmakers made shorts of 5-minutes or less, to be streamed on the web. Now, nine of the shorts will be exhibited online at Docuweb, a documentary steaming site. Docuweb will then direct viewers to a D-Word discussion forum where they can question, debate, and interact directly with the filmmakers and each other.
