Editorial & Social Media Internships at NewEnglandFilm.com
NewEnglandFilm.com, an online magazine and resource for filmmakers, seeks editorial and social media interns for the Fall 2020 and Spring 2021.
The editorial intern would write profiles on films, festival reports, filmmaker interviews or how-to pieces for its magazine section. In addition, the editorial intern will be in charge of creating draft email newsletters in Constant Contact. Professional experience is not necessary, but person must be a proficient writer and editor. Prior knowledge of WordPress would be ideal, but we can provide training. NewEnglandFilm.com writers have gone on to write for publications such as Boston Magazine, MovieMaker Magazine, WBUR, and others.
In collaboration with the publisher, the social media intern will create posts in Canva, oversee social listening through Hubspot, and schedule posts for review regularly through Planoly and Facebook scheduler. In addition, the social media intern will help build visibility and followers for our lists. Social media management training provided as part of the internship.
