You can take the ladies out of the '80s but...

Seeking an actress, 26-34 (or pass for that range) to portray “Young Maxine” in the short film “Wallie’s Gals.”  The film is about a group of quirky women who work in a discount clothing store in the ’80s.      Part flashback to that time, part present day, where we then see the women reunite 30 years later.   Lots of fun calls to ’80s films and a overall a great character-driven story.

Maxine is the manager of this store, called “Wallie’s Big Deals.” She is a brash and no nonsense gal.  Looking for an actress to play this character in the ’80s.  Ideally be brunette with brown eyes to look similar to the present day actress (played by Rosemary Pacheco).

Must be available all day for the filming days of October 20th and 27th,

We are currently a finalist for the Newenglandfilm.com Star Award Film Grant.

Please submit headshot, resume and reel to mary@marycferrara.com.  Thanks!!
