New England Connection: Subscription was shot in Boston's Financial District and environs. The film's producer/director was born and raised in Malden, MA, just North of Boston and now resides in Brookline MA. Andrew Justin Smith, who plays the lead character of Ian is from the North Shore while Mike Bogart who plays Court is from Needham and now resides in Newton. Erica Derrickson who plays Molly lives in Malden, MA. Our cinematographer Richard Widmack is from Mattapan. In fact every one who is connected with the film has New England roots or lives here now.

Director(s) Bio:: Norman Lang is an independent producer/director/writer from New England and owner of Lang Productions. He produced and directed the award-winning short narrative film, SUBSCRIPTION. Lang Productions is an independent film studio based in Chestnut Hill. We are storytellers. Our success comes from finding and/or creating great stories that we can turn into great films and that audiences want to watch. Norman is an active investment professional with JP Morgan, entrepreneur (Lang Productions) and philanthropist (Project Hope, MAB Community Services) in the Boston area.
