It has always been my goal to live a creative life. In this short documentary I ask for advice from three of the most inspirational people I know: Steve Connor (luthier & owner of Connor Guitars), Martin Keen (Founder & CEO of Focal Upright Furniture), and Mike Fink (RISD Professor, Author).

New England Connection: All of the individuals featured in this film are based in New England. Steve Connor (luthier) lives and works in Falmouth, MA, Martin Keen runs his business Focal out of Portsmouth, RI and lives in RI. Mike Fink lives in Providence and teaches at RISD.

Director(s) Bio:: Sky Sabin is a musician and filmmaker. He received a BA from Wheaton College in Norton, MA, with a concentration in music composition. He has performed his original songs in Boston, Providence, New York, Newport and Cork, Ireland. His first short film, At The Heart Is The Guitar, debuted at the Woods Hole Film Festival in 2010. After that Sky worked with multiple production companies including Gnarly Bay Productions, Kettlebottom Productions, and Clear Vision Video. In September 2012 Sky started his own production company, Sky Sabin Productions, LLC. Sky hit the ground running filming a busy wedding season, videos for non-profits and businesses in Rhode Island. He completing another documentary short, Art Is a Verb, which has shown at the Roving Eye International Film Festival, Rhode Island International Film Festival, Woods Hole Film Festival and will show at the NewEnglandFilm.com Film Festival this summer. In addition to continuing work in weddings and advertising, Sky is filming his first feature-length documentary called Dreaming of Sugarplums.
