Funding needed for a feature-length film I wrote that's going into production soon. It's called Sunset Ridge Hooligans. It's a coming of age drama about a group of childhood friends who, through the death of one of their own, are re-united in their adult years ... back in their old hometown of Sunset Ridge. ABCC Our World Film Series 7th Annual Short Night

The Acton-Boxborough Cultural Council Our World Film Series is now soliciting films for its 7th Annual Short Night. The screening will feature new work EXCLUSIVELY from students, recent alumni, and faculty of Massachusetts college and university film programs. We accept narrative, documentary, and experimental films (live action or animation). Total running time of submissions should be under 15 minutes, but films up to 30 minutes will be considered. We've held three festivals so far and have given out scholarship money, video equipment and trophies to student winners. All selections get custom movie posters. At the festival, which is free to the public, there's food and beverages, a red carpet to walk and take pictures on, and a screening of the selections followed by the award ceremony. It's a fun night!
