Featured Background for Indie Short

Posted in Paid Casting Calls by Nicolas Thilo-McGovern on 06/13/2018 |

Hey guys. I still need a few more people to do some featured background work this weekend. I have a couple great opportunities for featured background work in MA. It is unpaid but you will get money for travel and other expenses (just make sure to let me know so I can ask the director for specific situations). Here they are:

Featured background for a courthouse scene shooting in the Peabody courthouse on June 15th. Call time is 9 am and will wrap at 3:30 pm. Food will be provided on set. Please wear formal clothing from the 70s if you have it. This shoot takes place in 1977 so please keep that in mind when it comes to hair and wardrobe. Please send a recent headshot, any dietary restrictions, and your phone number to nictm3@gmail.com.

Featured background for June 16th for a protest. We are looking for police officers and protester so please indicate which one you prefer. Call time is 6.30pm, shooting will start at 8.30pm and conclude at midnight. Dinner will be served to everyone. We will be shooting at the former Naval Air Station, South Weymouth, Weymouth, MA. Please bring clothes that look like they are from the late 1960s. Some additional clothes will be available on set so please indicate if you will need clothes. Please email nictm3@gmail.com a recent headshot, any dietary restrictions, your measurements, and your preferred phone number.

Here is a brief description of the film:
Set in both 1969 and 1977, this story follows three friends who find each other after many years. They meet by chance: one of them is accused of being part of an underground terrorist left-wing organization and of having committed various terrorist acts, the second one is the judge in the trial carried out against the first one, and the third friend (the main character) is a journalist reporting on the trial.
