About Becki Dennis

Becki Dennis is a professional actor/ singer/ dancer/ choreographer, whose work has spanned the mediums of stage, screen, print, and voice-over.

A Boston-native, Becki returned to the area after completing a BA in Musical Theatre and Dance from Point Park University's Conservatory of Performing Arts in Pittsburgh, and has since been working steadily in a variety of roles throughout the New England area. She has performed at such regional theatres as the Ogunquit Playhouse, Seacoast Repertory Theatre, Palace Theatre, New England Light Opera, Kuntu Repertory Theatre, Jewish Theatre of Pittsburgh, and The Theater Offensive. She acts in interactive, improv theatre with Mystery Café and Bello Productions, and is a singer for both Big Smile Entertainment and the Victorian Carollers.

Becki is just as experienced on-camera, having had principal and supporting roles in film, television, commercials, and industrials. Her commercial for "Boys Town," a crisis hotline, is currently airing nationally on Fox and CBS; and she was also a Top 20 finalist in the acting competition TV pilot "Casting Call," with judges Joe Piscopo, Morgan Fairchild, and Adrian Zmed. Becki is featured in the NYU Graduate Student film "Rainbowarrior," directed by Tina Romero, daughter of George A. Romero ("Night of the the Living Dead", "Dawn of the Dead.")

As a print-model, Becki has worked with some of Boston's top photographers in advertisements for such companies as Progressive Insurance, Peter Pan Bus Lines, and Elsevier Medical Textbooks. As a voice-over artist, she has supplied the voices for two audio-dramas and a commercial for "Nova Science Now" on PBS.

Becki has taken classes at Emerson College, Berklee College of Music, Improv Asylum, CP Casting, Maura Tighe Casting, North Shore Music Theatre, Merrimack Repertory Theatre, and Broadway Dance Center.
