When two park rangers respond to a distress call from a secluded lake in the wilderness, the two show up to make a startling discovery; the insects around the area are vastly oversized. An expedition is soon formed headed by a brilliant Etomologist and her assistant in hopes of trying to figure out the reason for the abnormal overgrowth. But once they arrive, it doesn't take long for things to go south and the group soon find themselves stranded for the night. And their search for answers quickly becomes a fight for survival in a land where the insects' rule.
