Need 50-60+ Actor for Thesis Film

I'm looking for an actor to play the role of the artist in my film. It is a small role, but essential, in that the story centers on the rest of the characters' reactions to his death. I need someone to imply a tortured life in a short time. I picture someone slightly emaciated, perhaps with a beard. All applications welcome.
I love to work with actors to discover the nuances of a role, and this film is heavily character based.
