Improv Asylum

Boston's professional improv and sketch comedy theater and training center. Improv Asylum's 180 seat theater is located in the heart of Boston's North End and produces shows Tuesday through Sunday night. Improv Asylum is home to some of the areas best comedic talent, including improvisational and comedic actors, writers, directors and producers.

The Improv Asylum Training Center trains hundreds of students a year in the art of improvisation. The Training Center is a full service educational institution, with classes for students just beginning in improvisation all the way up to advance techniques as well as sketch comedy writing.

Besides the 180 seat theater and bar in downtown Boston, Improv Asylum has ample rehearsal, casting and meeting space at their corporate offices and training suites on Hanover Street in the North End of Boston. Some spaces include Green Screen capabilities, as well as camera and recording equipment and technicians. All spaces are available for rent.
