Kevin Tostado
Kevin Tostado is a native of San Diego, California and was a member of the inaugural class at Franklin W. Olin College of Engineering in Needham, MA. While in his senior year of college, he co-wrote and directed a full-length independent feature, Yellow Lights. This movie won “Best Feature” and “Best Cinematography” at Indie Fest USA as well as Telly & DV Awards. More recently, Kevin produced and directed an award-winning documentary about the game of Monopoly, those who play it, and how it has become a worldwide phenomenon, titled Under the Boardwalk: The MONOPOLY Story. The television version of the film won four Emmy awards from the Pacific Southwest NATAS Chapter, including Outstanding Achievement in Documentary, Directing, Editing, and Musical Arrangement/Composition. Kevin is currently in development on several other projects targeting releases in 2016-2017. Additionally, Kevin has worked on music videos, webisodes for NBC’s Heroes, Disney Channel commercials, videos for Stella Artois & MDA, and award-winning short films. Kevin has also been part of three successful Kickstarter campaigns, raising over $80,000 for projects.
