I was born at a very young age into a family of artists. My father made etchings in the bathtub with nitric acid. I learned to draw by copying Leonardo DaVinci, R. Crumb, and David Levine. My Super-8 films were winning awards and my drawings were being shown in the Moscow United Nations while I was getting thrown out of school for drawing caricatures of my teachers on the desk in permanent marker. This obsession led to a national Emmy nomination, 20 years of Boston Globe illustrations; creating animation characters for Miramax films, mixed-media on-air promos for SyFy and Cartoon Network, national TV commercials for CVS and the FDA. Creating storyboards for national campaigns, documentary films, sculptures models, and more. When I’m not busy making art, I enjoy making art.
