Celebrate the Berkshire International Film Festival May 31st through June 3rd in Great Barrington, Massachusetts and continues June 1st to 3rd in Pittsfield. The Portsmouth Public Library in New Hampshire hosts a free screening of the short film Trouble on May 6th at 1:30 pm. The project, which was filmed in New Hampshire, is presented by Awareness UNlimited. For more information, visit the Portsmouth Public Library website.

Central Connecticut State University hosts a special exhibit celebrating 25 years of the Connecticut Gay and Lesbian Film Festival. The exhibit will be in the Elihu Burritt Library May 7th through June 10th, with a special reception on May 16th from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. For more details, click here.

Boston Globe film critic Wesley Morris has been awarded the Pulitzer Prize for criticism. Morris won for a collection of movie reviews and essays from last year. Check out Boston.com’s full story.

Massachusetts filmmaker Ben Pender-Cudlip will premiere his documentary short film Sanjiban at Canada’s Hot Docs documentary film festival in May. The film focuses on Berkshire artist Sanjiban Sellew. Learn more at http://unrenderedfilms.com/.
