New Hampshire Documentary

Read about the recent award-winning film from New Hampshire filmmaker Steve Hooper.
Stephen L. Hooper of New Hampshire was recently honored by the American Red Cross for the documentary An American Nurse at War. The video captures the aftermath of battle when nurse Marion Rice worked side by side with doctors to help the wounded soldiers and civilians in France. The $50,000 project was made possible through the support from organizations like the NH Humanities Council, Crosby Foundation, Keene Sentinel, among others.

An American Nurse at War will be shown during 1998 at five locations in New Hampshire and Vermont. The video will also be available for sale with a portion of proceeds going to the New Hampshire Humanities Council and the American Red Cross.
