Shoe City Screens Film Festival

Brockton Arts is hosting it's third annual film screening night. This August first and second at Massasoit Community College Buckley Performing Arts Center. We are LOOKING FOR FILMS FOR OUR SECOND NIGHT! everything is welcome: shorts, music videos, short docs, and experimental films no longer than 15 minutes in length. The cost for submission is FREE! The person submitting the film will get two free tickets to the event. The only request is that you bring at least 3-5 people who will attend the screening along with you.

Shoe City Screens is looking for film submissions for this years film festival. Saturday August 2nd at Massasoit Community College we will be screening films submitted by you the independent film maker. The length of the film can NOT exceed 15 minutes. We have an application we would like you to fill out for all submissions on our website. The event is from 6:00-9:00pm August 2nd at Massasoit Community College. We want all types of genres except films depicting nudity or heavy sexual situations.

The No Film Festivals is back for it’s third year. This year teams will be given one week to make a seven to fifteen minute film based on a bit part from a famous third string actor. This years festival will be challenging and the winner of the competition will walk away with a thousand dollars cash! The registration deadline for the festival is May 29th 2014 at 11pm. Founded in 1998, the Maine International Film Festival (MIFF) is a project of the Maine Film Center. Falls Area Community Television (FACT TV) invites budding and seasoned filmmakers to participate in the second annual No Film Film Festival. The challenge will be to recreate a classic 1980s American film in less than 15 minutes. The deadline for registration is 11:59 a.m., May 29, 2013, and may be done online at http://www.nofilmfestival.org.
