Boston, 1985: a new television station is discovered by the cable-deprived citizens of southern New England as they channel-surf the higher ranges of local UHF. Passing through Channel 66 they suddenly find one of their favorite music videos, hosted by a VJ they’ve never seen before. They do a double take: “Isn’t MTV only on cable?”. As creative director of software at visual effects studio Digital Domain, Roble, a two-time Academy Award®-winner, developed the technologies used to create the visual effects in “2012” and many of Hollywood’s most popular films.

Depicting the snarl of a werewolf, the sparkling skin of a vampire, or a handsome apparition were all in a day’s work for Matt Jacobs and Eric Pascarelli, visual effects supervisors who worked on the blockbuster film The Twilight Saga: New Moon. These masters of technology were charged with bringing the latest movie installment of Stephenie Meyer's best-selling novel to the big screen.

Animation and visual effects producer Terrence Masson draws on more than two decades of experience to explore the history of computer graphics. Masson has worked on over 20 feature films, including Fantastic Four, Star Wars Episode I: Phantom Menace, and Batman Forever. He is credited for single-handedly creating the original CG animation and rendering techniques used to launch the South Park television series in 1996. Hear behind-the-scenes stories about the people and companies that formed the CG industry and about the tools and techniques that are currently creating a buzz.

This is a casting call for a student produced short film. The film in question is Seed, mainly about a amnesiac man's journey as he is struck by a car and must piece the puzzles of his life back together. The only thing he can remember is a girl in his dreams, and is shocked to eventually find her with another man.

Actors will be paid based on how big their part is.

The lead role being casted will be the role of the main character. We are right now picturing a man with a slim physique in his mid to late twenties.

3)Someone to play a young, Latino man, teenager – 20’s. Must be able to portray a thug look; tattoos, piercings, and shaved heads all welcome. No dialogue for this part.
